⚠️ LOUD SOUNDS ALERT – TURN YOUR VOLUME DOWN! ⚠️
⚠️ GAME IS NOT PHONE COMPATIBLE⚠️
To progress, you’ll need to change your system date. It’s part of the game’s immersion. Windows limits dates to 2055 through normal settings, so use Command Prompt:
1) Search CMD in the taskbar.
2) Right-click Command Prompt → Run as Administrator.
3) Type date and press Enter.
4) Enter the new date and press Enter.
5) Close out and reopen the page that is running the game. See "Technical Help"
Note: This may log you out of apps due to time mismatch. Close important programs first.
This game was made in a week for the SKG game jam. It explores losing and rediscovering a beloved game with a new way to play.

!!!SPOILER ALERT!!!
These are the important dates to change your system clock to:
- March 30th 2025 — Easy Mode
- March 31st 2025 — Story Part 2
- July 31st 2065 — Hard Mode
TECHNICAL HELP
Do to a bug, the game will not show the correct screen on July 31st 2025. Please look at the cover image of the game for the correct first screen.
You should be hearing music by EBIMAYO in the SHMUPS! part of the game. If you don’t, then the game hasn’t loaded it in yet and you are skipping the menu too fast on first load.
Pay attention to the game text. If the game freezes, refresh the page. You may have to exit out of the webpage the game is running in for it to detect changes if Ctrl+R or Ctrl+F5 doesn’t work. Sometimes Chrome will throw an error saying your system clock is out of date. Just keep trying and it will work. Chrome is a bit too strict about this and won’t let us have fun.
THEMES AND CREDITS
I don't really make games much, but it was a lot of fun even though I rushed at the end. I felt like doing something cool and important to help promote SKG as well as promote some of the music I love. I know a lot of the code could be better. I was basically throwing code in anywhere just to get it working fast. But this was a huge learning experience. Thank you for the opportunity to make this, and thank you to anyone who played. Please leave me a comment here, on TWITTER, or on MY WEB PAGE (still working on that as well). I would love to read some critiques and thoughts.
